Mount the drive motor on a rigid foundation plate that transfers loads directly to the concrete base without flexing. Connect electrical wiring according to local electrical codes with proper grounding. Program the limit switches to stop motor operation at exactly the fully open and fully closed positions. Install safety sensors at the designated height as specified by the manufacturer, typically 100-150mm above ground level.
5. Testing and Commissioning
Operate the door through 10 complete open-close cycles while observing for any unusual sounds, vibration, or hesitation. Verify that the safety reversal activates when an obstacle is placed in the door path. Test the remote control range and response time.
